(0:03) This video will show you how to carry your baby on your front using the straps two different ways. Choose whichever is more comfortable for you.
(0:13) This is the Cross Strap Carry: With your Onya baby carrier in front, wrap the waist belt around your hips, making sure to pass the male side of the buckle through the safety elastic before clipping the buckle together.
(0:27) Make sure you listen for that *CLICK* sound to ensure that it securely buckles.
(0:32) Then tighten to your comfort.
(0:34) Hold your baby so your baby's bum is right around your belly button.
(0:38) Keep one arm holding your baby. Bring your Onya carrier up behind your baby's back.
(0:44) Bring the first shoulder strap over your shoulder, across your back, and buckle it to the opposite buckle.
(0:51) Bring the second shoulder strap over your shoulder and across your back, making an X with the straps.
(0:57) Buckle the second strap securely.
(1:00) Adjust the straps by either pulling up or down so that they're comfortable and even in length. Bounce your baby gently to settle them in.
(1:13) The second method is using the Chest Clip.
(1:16) Wrap the waist belt around your hips through the safety strap and buckle, listening for the click.
(1:24) The shoulder straps should be fastened like it's a backpack, the webbing nice and loose, and the chest clip slider towards the top.
(1:32) Hold your baby in front so your baby's bum is around your belly button.
(1:37) While you keep one arm holding your baby, bring your carrier up behind your baby's back.
(1:43) Keep holding your baby while you bring the shoulder straps over your shoulders.
(1:48) Adjust the shoulder straps one at a time so they're comfortable and even.
(1:53) Reach behind your neck and grab the two halves of the chest clip, and buckle.
(2:00) Gently bounce your baby to settle them into the carrier and fine-tune the straps for comfort.
(2:06) You want your baby's head to be visible and kissable.
