Babywearing Tip: Wear your baby in an in-arms position
Huh? What does that mean?
All it means is that, when you’re babywearing your baby on your front, your baby should be positioned on you where you would hold her if you weren’t wearing her. Baby’s bum should be right around your belly button, not down around hip level – ouch! That’ll hurt your back for sure. Baby’s head should be close enough to kiss.
This will be more comfortable for you, so you’ll enjoy many more hours of babywearing bliss. Plus, you get the added bonus of having your baby’s head right there when you want to lean down to give her a kiss. Lovely.
Wear your baby longer, more comfortably. Your baby and your back will thank you for it.
Happy babywearing!
